He is before you: The Guide.
Leading you with certainty and hope even when you can’t see round the next bend.
He is beside you: The Companion and Mentor.
Enabling you to thrive physically and mentally and be content, whatever the circumstances.
He is behind you: The Protector.
Defending you from attack. He has your back.
Surrounded by the love of Jesus.
“Lord Jesus, as I begin a new day;
You are my Guide - I am certain your are before me as I make my way along a winding road.
You are my Companion and Mentor - You accompany me with your kindness, generosity and discipline.
You are my Protector - I am safe because you have my back. Before me, beside me and behind me,
I am surrounded by your love.”
We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
