#1 Claim It
When Jesus made a promise, he meant it.
Sometimes, we can forget to accept all the ‘good gifts’ God has for us, when all we need to do is claim them. At the beginning of each day, make a claim on the promises of Jesus. They are yours to own.
Reject voices in your head that tell you ‘you can’t say that’ – these are the lies of the enemy. Dismiss them in the name of Jesus and carry on:
“I claim your strength.”
“I claim wisdom for the decisions I make today.”
“I claim your protection for my household, my family and my workplace.”
Speak them directly to Jesus, with purpose.
By accepting his unconditional forgiveness and welcoming him into our lives, we get a winning ticket that cannot be taken away from us.
This is a truth so powerful that the enemy will continually try to make us doubt it with lies like:
“I’m not good enough; I don’t deserve it,
I have bad thoughts,
I’m selfish, I‘m vain”
Ignore them and take what’s yours.
Today I claim the truth that I am loved by you,
whatever I think about myself.
I claim your freedom
I claim your provision
I claim your peace
Thank you that nothing can take
this away from me.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek
and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks,
the door will be opened.
